[net.notes] Deletion of access files

When I ran newsoutput and nfarchive today, they both dumped core
with the ''cannot get access list'' (or something to that effect)
message.  Turns out that the access files for two of our notesfiles
had been deleted.  I fixed the problem by copying access files from
other notesfiles into where they were in the notesfiles in questions
and then retailoring access permissions, but has anyone experienced
this before and/or do you know why it happened and what can be done
to prevent it?

I experienced that once when some turkey did a 'find' and 'rm'
from spool all files not accessed in 'n' days.

This appears to have been our problem.  nfarchive and newsoutput
broke with this symptom right after our spool directory was purged
of old files, and some of the access files must have gone with them.
Nothing has gone wrong since then.
