I'd like to have another level above the "index" page that shows
my current "notesfiles" list .  What do ya' think ?

Yes, another level is a good idea for the following reasons:
a. you could go directly to a notesfile, thereby bypassing those
you dont want to look at this session. b. you can control-d out or
stop at files which sequencing would bypass. Its a worthwhile addition.
