I have written a notesfile/mail/talk package in C to run on a Fortune
32:16 68000-based UNIX system. I have opened the system up to dialup users
at 317-463-4592. It is available 24 hours a day to 1200 or 300 baud users.
This package is very similar to the U of Ill notes package since, like it,
I designed my system after having worked several years on the CDC PLATO
system. The system is intended to be a little more personal that this
vast network of UNIX machine called USENET and is designed to keep the
user from needing to know anything about UNIX. This was necessary since
most personal computer users are not quite ready to leap into UNIX.
