On the topic of Sally Rogers and Stan Rogers... No relation. Garnet Rogers played fiddle on Stan's records, and plays fiddle on his own new record (thru the magic of multi-tracking). Sally Rogers used to live in Lansing, Michigan (where there is a thriving folk scene) and has some Michigan people on her first two albums. She now lives in Connecticut. matt fichtenbaum

[ Entomogist's Delight ] A couple of time I've heard a wonderful song by Stan Rogers called "White Collar Holler," a sort of work-song for computer types. Anyone know what album this is from, what label, etc? > A couple of time I've heard a wonderful song by Stan Rogers called "White > Collar Holler," a sort of work-song for computer types. It is on his album called "Live... Between the Breaks" which was recorded at the Groaning Board in Toronto. It is on the Fogerty's Cove label which is distributed by the major folk outlets. The album includes several wonderful songs including "Rolling Down to Maui", a newer version of "Barret's Privateers" and "Harris and the Mare"... just to mention a few. If you buy only one of Stan Rodger's albums, consider this one first. -- Internet: lee@rochester.arpa UUCP: {decvax, allegra, seismo}!rochester!lee Phone: [USA] (716) 275-7747, -5671 Physical: 43 01' 40'' N, 77 37' 49'' W
