As I started to reply to receiving PHC in Portland I thought I should double check the header to find out which Portland since the text didn't specify. Well, it's the wrong one but I'll stick in my .02$ anyway... Here in N.E. (That's New England, the real North East) finding PHC is fairly easy. The FCC has reserved the lower few station slots for "educational use". Most NPR/APR stations will be found in the slots from 88 to about 91 (N.Y.C. being an exception for NRP). If one knows the time, one can simply scan the dial for a familuar sound (effect). In Portland, ME one will probably find about 3 stations carrying it all at once! I'd suggest calling the 800 number fpr PHC (Sorry, don't know it off the top of my head). They would know when and where the program is aired. If you don't know the number call (1-)800-555-1212. -w.b. -wayne blair uucp: ....decwrl!yogi!blair
