Having recently discovered "Prairie Home Companion" while visiting Colorado, I searched avidly for the show on returning to NJ, without success; can anyone tell me which radio station is enlightened enough to offer this in NJ and at what time? Many thanks Rich Irving AT&T Bell Labs Murray Hill NJ mhuxm!rhib

They also rebroadcast the show on Sundays at noon on WNYC AM, 830 Kz. Neither station is the strongest in the world, but a twinlead antenna with the broadside facing NYC should be sufficient for FM, unless you live a long ways toward the south or west from Murray Hill. In that case, try WHYY, Philadelphia, 90.5 MHz, also at 6:00 on Saturdays. Dan Wilson {ihnp4, allegra, ucbvax}!bellcore!dvw dvw@bellcore.ARPA

For future reference, PHC is carried over the National Public Radio satel- lite and so is always available to your local public radio station. If they are carrying it, the frequency will be at the low end of the F.M. dial, about 90-92 MHz. If they aren't carrying it, try calling them to ask for it. (The public stations are usually located at the state universities). With enough audience pressure, they should begin broadcasting it.
