We were on our way to Eli for a canoeing trip. 100 miles, huh? And it's Babe, not Abe, huh? Come to think of it, naming a blue ox Babe is the same sort of humor as installing a bishop in Brainerd. Think what this sort of humor could do for the US if it were to spread to Hollywood (as in- evitably it will). No more Hollywood Hype! Understatement will be the only way to communicate. No more of those sickening, insincere, Hollywood Hugs for the camera.
