What a surprise for me to find that the strange character who played the
organ in the TV show is the leader of a full fledged brass band fully the
equivalent of the 1911 Pinkerton Band!
Who IS Philip Brunell: how come he appears as an individual musician one
week and a band leader the next? Where did that great band come from? How
does he happen to have it? U. Minn.? Or whatever? Can anyone cast light
upon the mystery of Philip Brunell?
