I sympathesize with your distress. But, make no mistake
about it, the blame lies with ol' Ronnie in Washington.
If he continues to swing the ax he's created for public
radio, you'll be more distressed.
Let's keep public radio, and dump something (or, more

During the broadcast from Seattle (Nov 9), I was trying to figure out
something of what was going on in the "News from Lake Wobegon" segment.
I suspected Garrison was in love -- I guess this basenote confirms it!
For example, at one point, he mentioned "someone else" wandering around
Lake Wobegon, looking up at the stars, "about my age ... about my
height", in love. There were other small indications, too.

Try WGBH 89.7 out of Boston. They broadcast PHC on Saturday
night at 6 pm.
