From: Alan Bawden <ALAN at MIT-MC> I have already seen French's book "Special Relativity" mentioned as a good reference. Let me personally recommend "Spacetime Physics" by Taylor and Wheeler as an excellent explanation of special relativity. Its clarity is unsurpassed in my experience.
