This is an addendum to my previous news item (no. 630). Since A has to wait too long if B relies on the movement of his end of lever to signal, the shortest waiting time for A would be 20 years. The argument is in the sln by uiuccsb!krueger : shortest time when B can see A and gives out laser signal upon seeing A move the lever. Hao-Nhien Vu (pur-ee!vu; or better: pur-ee!norris)
