[net.physics] faster than light, a billion, and nuclear flames

A while ago I submitted an article to this group on "The New Physics".
It described a thought experiment, based on some real work done at
various labs testing Bell's inequalities, that could indeed implement
FTL *information* transfer. There has been no comment. Does anyone out
there know basic quantum mechanics (ala Finman vol. 3)? The math works
out, and one of its consequences is that it can *derive* the basic equation
of a quantum oscillator.

To visualize a billion, I first visualize a cubic milemeter and then visualize
a cubic meter of them. A trillion is a cube ten meters on a side made of cubic
milemeters. That's about as far as I go.

For quenching nuclear flames, try the book "The Health Hazards of Not Going
Nulcear" by Dr. Petr Beckman. I think he has references to radioactivity of
coal wastes. I recommend his book highly.
