Many of us who expressed opinions against net.origins have been critisized for trying to stiffle the free exchange of ideas. Some of our detractors have even found it necessary to ease their troubled consciences by apologizing to Paul Dubuc on our behalf. It's unfortunate that the free expression of OUR opinions were so repugnent to them. Feingold's article did strike one reasonant cord. I remember reading Bogolubov's (sp?) Stat. Mech. book in grad school and encountering a two page footnote regarding the Marxian, dialectical materialist, interpretation of the 2nd Law of Thermo. and its criticism of the "bourgeois" interpretation. Some of us don't want that happening here. Jim
