So far, we have had a lot flames in the great creation debate and precious little light. I would like to ask some questions that might start a discussion that will end with a satisfying conclusion for all concerned. First, what is the debate about ? The creationists say that God made the earth and all the good sutff in 6 days. The scientific community says that the earth and all the good stuff was "made" in billions of years. Prove that the earth and the universe was created in more than six days. If not provable, what is the most likely hypothesis. We will accept this hypothesis (let's call it a theory) until something better comes along. Agreed ? This should take about two weeks. Then we can go on to something more interesting. -Roger
