Several people on the ARPAnet have told me that they want copies of my articles on Descartes and Hume. Mailing to the ARPAnet is a real pain. Half the time it doesn't get there for reasons which I only half understand. Some of the people who asked didn't give me their address, either, and I think that they are something other than: MAILER-DAEMON at UW-BEAVER which is the only address I received. So I am going to inflict this stuff on net.physics readers and thus avoid the whole problem. I am sorry to bother those who are not interested; I tried not to, but I don't see a way out. Let me know if there is one. There are four articles in this series: one of Descartes, one on Epistemology in general, one on Empiricism (mostly Hume) and one on Existentialism (mostly Kierkegaard).
