[net.physics] creationism

How in the world can anyone make the case that creationism should
be in the realm of discussions on Physics??

I suggest this list start discussing Monty Python, which clearly
has much more to do with physics than creationism. If you feel
discussions on Monty Python have no place on a Physics discussion
list, then that is because you are just closed minded and are
afraid of the "TRUTH."

I second Alan's comments about truth and Physics.
I agree Monty Python would be much closer to Physics than discussing
the "truths" in creationism.

I think the main problem is that government has gotten intimately
involved in science and education, which are not part of its legitimate
functions. How can families afford to send their children to rational
schools when their money has been appropriated to support the absurdly
political and inefficient public school system? At least they should
get tax credits for private education..

Why stop with tax credits for private education? Why not also tax credits
for:

	1. hiring your own security guard
	2. taking your trash to the county dump (gas expenses, etc)
	3. buying and installing fire extinguishers at home
	4. etc

Boring! Stop with the creationism issue...please...physics only!
