I don't recall anything in the Bible that would imply that Hell is under pressure, and my guess would be that the pressure would have to be very large to make much difference (the vapor pressure of sulphur at its boiling point is less than one bar). Anyway, the critical temperature and pressure for sulphur are 1040C and 116 bars, respectively. The values for gold would be very much higher (assuming that Heaven is a city of gold, as the Bible says somewhere), so the original conclusion would remain valid.
