It is due to uninformed users. The address to submit things is PHYSICS@SRI-UNIX which is forwarded to the USENET. Changes to the distribution list should have been sent to PHYSICS-REQUEST@SRI-UNIX. This is a hot wire to the list maintainer. Now if we could just keep the USENET control messages (like message cancellations) out of the ARPA distributions. -Ron
