<To the singularity> To the people interested in terrestial occurences such as 'Green Flashes, and the Aurorae' I would reccomend these articles: "Celestial Winds, Polar Lights", Astronomy magazine, August 1983 issue. Has information along with many color photos of such things as the 'theta' anomaly, and aurorae as 'seen' in diffenent spectrae. "Watch The Skies", Astronomy magazine, February 1982. Interesting details of many rare atmospheric phenomona, along with absorbtion/diffraction diagrams of the effects. "The Decay Of The False Vacuum", Astronomy magazine, November 1983 p66 A short article summarizing the Weinberg-Salam theory and its relevance to High-energy cosmological events. Finally, "Looking Inside Quasars", Astronomy magazine, November 1982 p6 A comprehensive article detailing the discovery of Quasars, and some of the current theories about thier origin. (And for you Hubble doubters) A description of how Quasar 3C-273 appears to be moving at 3*c (tell IT that's impossible....) Chris Hayes ucbvax!dual!proper!chris
