[net.physics] OK, I'll bite...

Perhaps this discussion belongs to mysticism rather than physics, but...
What is a ``ley line''? My OED doesn't give much of a clue. They give
``ley'' as an archaic variant of ``lee'' or ``lay''; ``lee'' generally
means ``sheltered'', and ``lay'' can mean ``a lake or pool,'' ``a hireling,''
``a song,'' ``a bill or reckoning,'' and dozens of others. Finally we find
``the way, position, or direction in which something is laid or lies (esp.
said of country); disposition or arrangement with respect to something.''

Well, is this relevant? With respect to what would the arrangement of a
``ley line'' be? What does it mean?
