[] I have received an ad for a new book: Ethical Probe on Einstein's Followers in the U.S.A. an Insider's View by Ruggero Maria Santilli The crucial statement in the ad is that, after explaining the conditions in which Einstein proved his results, "The author then provides a comprehensive presentation of novel physical conditions, identified in more recent times, under which Einstein's relativities have been proven invalid in the refereed technical literature." The ad goes on to ask (in capital letters) rhetorical questions suggesting that the new results are being suppressed for venal reasons by the "academic-governmental complex." The book is available in soft cover for $19.50 from Alpha Publishing 897 Washington Street, Box 82 Newtonville, Ma. 02160 - 0082, USA Also offered are three volumes of documentation, and a subscription to a newsletter titled "Scientific Ethics." The ad appears to have been written by Dr. Santilli, in very non-idiomatic English. (See the use of "on" in the title.) This probably makes it look flakier than it really is. I have the impression that Santilli is a serious scientist. I would appreciate any informed opinion of the author or his claims. If you send me mail, I will summarize to the NET in a few weeks.
