Anyone remember? > The tesla (T) is the unit of magnetic induction or magnetic flux density in the SI system of measurement. A charge of one coulomb moving at one meter per second perpendicular to a magnetic field of strength 1 T will experience a force of one newton. The tesla is a very large unit; the largest man-made magnets are on the order of 10 T. The more common unit is the gauss; 1 T = 10**4 G. Scott Anderson ihnp4!oddjob!kaos
