One over f noise has always fascinated me. Does anyone have a good
knowledge of its origin at normal frequencies (1-1000Hz)? I have heard
that every test of the validity of the 1/f law has been positive down
to the lowest (?) frequency attempted. Extrapolated to very very low
frequencies (<10E-6 Hz) do you have to consider phenomena such as
people kicking the apparatus by accident, earthquakes, etc?

Some very large noise spikes that would have to be considered at some
even lower frequencies would be 1. The sun exploding, 2. The end of the
universe.

Its hard to believe that the 1/f law does not fail at some point. Does
anyone know about this?
