The light cavity you described would make a very interesting laser cavity. The light that does not mutually reflect off the spheres would reflect off the two ellipsoids in a manner as to align onto the axis of F1 and F2. In a laser, this would stimulate emission most strongly along this axis. The resultant light distribution would look very similar to an exponential distribution, if not in actuality being an exponential distribution. Have we got any mathematical wizards out there? John.
