[net.physics] Distribution list versus Digest

Since this physics mailing list puts out so many "articles", would anyone
care if someone collected the articles first, then sent them to the mailing
list? I would prefer similar articles to be grouped together. Anyone
else share the same thought?

I second that. Other nets ( e.g. human nets or arms.d do that and it works)
It would be nice though, if this grouping would preserve the 'page breaks'
i.e. the printout should pause after each individual article to allow
a disposition by a mail command. In the aggreagations mentioned above this
feature is list as a whole group of articles is mailed as a single mail
  message.
Do that (pending improvements to mail) the agregator should not
cat all articles into a singlr message but only collect them - and then
send corresponding articles at the same time as a sequence of messages.

The amount of traffic we have been having has made me think its
about time for the "digestification" of the Physics mailing list, too.
I have some ideas for a program to handle it. If I dont get that done soon
though, Ill start taking offers if anybody wants to try doing it manually.
I really dont have the time to do it myself now, and will have even less
in the future.

Good idea... Ill try and send out nightly batches of messages,
with messages with the same subject line (modulo "re:"'s) in the same
batched message, sorted by submission date.
