The following problem is due to Kevin Romero, a friend of mine who teaches General Physics (as a grad student) at WSU. I present it here for your enjoyment: (2) A man and a woman are standing one meter apart. The man has one percent more electrons than protons in his body. The woman has one percent more protons than electrons in her body. How strong is the force of attraction between them: (a). Strong enough to lift a large book. (b). Strong enough to lift the world trade center. (c). Strong enough to lift Mount Everest. (d). Strong enough to lift a weight equivalent to that of the earth. (e). None of the above. The force isn't even enough to lift a small mouse. chongo <pheep> /\oo/\ -- no comment is a comment.
