The magic formula is: PV=NRT Where: P = pressure V = volume N = moles R = physical constant T = temperature I haven't used it for 12 years. John.

One wonders what this was in reference to.
The only query I recall was about variation
of atmospheric pressure with height, which
is roughly exponential.
