[net.physics] Free energy

I believe the significant problem encountered by the readers of
this net was not that a machine might be built to exploint ambient
potential energy, but that as first stated, the machine appeared to
be claiming perpetual motion. Now, I have no problems when dealing
with an energy transformer, ie. potential to kinetic, but I *DO* have
problems with an energy creator, as was originally claimed.

Before we install millions of these, perhaps we should check to see
what will happen to the environment. If it allows stability, that is,
it can be renewed by solar activity, then it can be considered
relatively safe. If not, then we should proceed cautiously, seeking
not to deplete our ambient energy, which we, by the way, *NEED*.

The only way we will be able to continue technological energy
consumption is if we venture out into space.
