I'm looking for a machine-language Fast Fourier Transform in 6502
machine code (ideally for an Apple). A little search led to the 1979-ish
BUY-IT (Byte) article, 'Fast Fourier for the 6800', and to a 1984 article
for a 6502 FFT in the Amer. J. Physics (vol 52, July-Dec). This volume
happens to be out of our library (and has been overdue a week now!), so
I don't even know if it's a useful listing or discussion. Before I start
hand-translating the 6800 code, has anyone any other ideas or sources (or
even access to that missing volume? Sorry I don't have the full reference
handy here.)
The code will be used in a stimulus-control and signal-averager BASIC
program used by a neurophys lab which I work for here at U.C. Davis.
Thanks for any and all help. Ron Goldthwaite, Psychology, UCD
