Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have returned from my vacation and exam period, and seem to
have survived both quite successfully. I will be working on getting
your characters back to you over the next week or so.
In the mean time, feel free to send in your first move. Assume
that your character will be approved, and that you will have a
reasonable selection of spells if a magic user, psionic powers
if psionic, and so on.
For the purpose of making communication between people simpler,
for posting announcements and news items, the town of Athron is
providing both a town bulletin board/newspaper and the local
equivalent of a post office. It costs 10 GP/month to rent a P.O. Box
in the post office. It costs 5 GP/month to recieve mail under your
own name at the Post Office.
If you wish to post messages to the town bulletin board (announcements
of adventuring parties beginning, requests for services, and so on,
send in your posting to me, and indicate whether you wish to sign it with
your name (your character's) and address (real-world uucp/ARPA mailing
address), or your P.O. Box number (don't worry, I will assign you a number).
P.O. Box numbers should be used if the poster wishes to remain anonymous
to the readers, obviously. Postings to the bulletin board are free, adds
in the newspaper cost 5GP - 100GP, depending on the size of the add.
This should aid you in setting up your adventuring parties, or in
acquiring services (magic users, assassins, etc... )
