I will now take a draw vote for a concession to a two-way Austria-Russia draw. Votes will be secret, but a yes/no/abstention count will be published. Send in your vote with the Fall 1905 vote; the vote with your final moves will be the one used. (Ie, you can change your mind until Thursday.) He was stabbed - the Russian army decided to dig in, rather than migrate to Italy. I expect to see his demise next year, what with A Ukr->Sev, and A Ser->Rum. Turkey's two remaining fleets cannot work together. Italy may have his one remaining unit supported by France next year, but it will evaporate unless France decides he wants a puppet army in the south, at the expense of one of his other units. Haven't we seen France's position before? He seems to have been stabbed by both Germany and Austria. Which will he decide to suicide against? How much hay can he make of A Tyr? Will he trust Germany *one more time*? I will talk about Russia and Austria as one unit. Their alliance seems unshakeable, now. If things go right, both will end this Fall with 10 units - +3 for Austria, +1 for Russia. +2 if Germany is attacked. Has Germany outlived his usefulness? Is A Tyr a sign? If Austria builds two armies, where will they go? Will Germany get anywhere against England alone? Can he afford to let Russia help him? Will he stop stabbing France? At first, I thought the standby moves for England were braindamaged. Then I looked at the board, and saw that is covered a multitude of possible German invasions.
