[net.games.pbm] First Diplomacy Game of 1986?

cdrigney@uokvax.UUCP (12/11/85)

Some issues of Diplomacy World recently acquired at a game auction
have rekindled my interest in Diplomacy.

1) Is anyone out there interested in starting a game after the
Holidays, i.e. E1986A? I'd prefer to play, but I'd be willing to
GM if no other willing soul can be found.

2) Speaking of E1986A, whatever happened to the assigning of
Electronic Boardman Numbers to games, and archiving the results?
If anyone knows who's currently doing this, would they let me know?

3) Rating Systems. Are Rating systems still as controversial as
they were in the late '70s? Anyone care to discuss Rating Systems?

4) Variants. No, I'd better not mention variants... :-)

		Diplomatically yours,

Lacking any other takers, I guess I could run a game. So, if
people want to play, let me know (send a preference list).

	Me. We're up to E1985-G.
