LaFayette in a meeting with fellow Tri-Power member Germany, discussed the new developments with Austria-Hungary and Russia. The French government denounced the secret dealing by Austria-Hungary with Russia and the failure of the Austria-Hungary government to honor its treaty agreements with France. France declared that Austria failed to honor the following key principles of their peace agreement: 1. Failure to return Tunis to French Control. 2. Failure to vacant all troops from Italy. 3. Blocking the movement of French forces out of Italy. France and Germany jointly declared that the Tri-Power Alliance has been dissolved due to the actions of Austria-Hungary. FRANCE DECLARES WAR!!! THE GREAT WAR BEGINS!!! In a surprise announcement today, the Free French government after meeting in secret session to review the current world developments, has declared war against Austria-Hungary and Russia. A government spokesman stated that France had decided it could not longer maintain its peaceful existence with the current threats by Austria and Russia forces. France in responding to the treaty violations by Austria-Hungary, the undeclared invasion of Germany by Russia forces and the movement of Austrian troops into Rome; declared that the GREAT WAR has started. France and Germany joins as allies to attack the Imperialist actions of Russia and his new lackey, Austria-Hungary. FRANCE PREPARES FOR WAR The Free French Government after making its declaration of war, announced a general mobilization in preparation for the Great War. All hopes for a peaceful solution to the current world crisis was lost due to the recent actions of Russian and Austria-Hungary. French forces are being recalled from its victories in the British Isles for war support in central and northern Europe. In mutual support, the 2nd Bordeaux French army supportted German troops in protecting the German providence of Munich. The new French LeHavre fleet activated in Brest, was ordered to sea, rumored to be heading to the troubled Mediterranean Sea area. The German and French fleets in a cooperative show of force threaten the Russia homeport of St. Petersburg and caused the Russian fleet in Norway to retreat back to St. Petersburg where due to lack of fuel, repair parts and support, the Russia fleet was disbanded and the ships sunk by their own commanders. The Monaco French fleet with the support of the Marseilles fleet in Naples attacked Rome in an attempt to recapture that important city from the Austrian troops. France announced that the French Fleets moved into Rome in response to a direct appeal of the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. ===== From Vienna, Austria ===== Emperor Franz Josef announced that he accepted the apologies of his cousin, the Czar of Russia, for the invasion of Austria-Hungary. The Emperor further declared his intentions to peacefully defend the borders of the empire now that the empire was no longer at war with any other nation. There have been rumors that the Prime Minister has recommended to the Emperor that the name of the empire be changed to Austria-Hungary-Italy to assuage the national feelings of the Italian people recently brought under the protection of the empire. ===== From Berlin, Germany ===== WARSAW CITIZENS OVER-THROW CZAR The free Pol underground (FPU), who have for years now been attempting to regain the taste of freedom they received from 1902-1905 when German forces briefly drove the Russians out, have over-thrown the occupying Russian gangsters. As soon as German forces in Galacia caught wind of the Polish uprising, they quickly mobilized to aid the scattered Polish partisans. These valiant German forces along with Cavalry and infantry detachments of the First Prussian Army Group united to beat back the disorganized Moscow Guard which the Czar quickly threw at the Pols to squash the rebellion. After being soundly thrashed, the Russian curs turned tail and retreated back to Moscow. Victorious German forces where then treated to a heros welcome in the streets of Warsaw. There Field Marshal Gutenduetcshspracen announced to the cheering Pols that the German parliament had unanimously recognized the FPU provincial government as the lagitimate government of Poland. This great victory was not without its price though, as troops who were fighting to secure the freedom of others had their own homes and villages plunder by the revengeful russian dogs. Civil defense forces put up a valiant fight in Silesia but were forced to make strategic withdraws when the Czar's hideous mobs unleashed clouds of poisonous gas, indiscriminately killing women, children and animals. The Russian surprise attack was finally halted by the brave members of the civil defense less than 100km from Berlin. A massive German counter attack is expected. (Editor's note: The Russians have repatriated Warsaw this Spring) ELSEWHERE The german high command regrets to report that a number of innocent English soldiers were killed or wounded when they were caught in a cross fire between Russain and German forces. Brave members of the Imperial German Navy are at this moment risking their lives in northern Sweden to protect the stranded English Army and all of Western Europe from Russain terrorism. German intelligence has reported that for quite some time now that Russia has been using Sweden as a route through which to smuggle guns and explosives into the free world via Denmark. In raids on suspected terroristic underground groups in Denmark, Holland, and Belgium, many of guns and explosives have been uncovered. The origins of all confiscated weapons have been traced back to Moscow. This is seen as a vain attempt to cause civil unrest and terror in these liberated nations. It is also strongly suspected that this same smuggling ring is directly linked to the tragic bombing of the Homlicher Kindergarden School in Holland last week. In a statement to the German press Chancellor Hiematstadt vowed that Germany's Armed Forces will continue to unselfishly risk life and limb until the day when free citizens and children are once again able to live in peace and safety. He once again called upon the all oppressed nations with-in Russia to throw off the fetters of slavery, and he pleaded with the rest of the free world to join Germany her Holy quest. ===== From Moscow, Russia ===== (Russian TELEX wires:) MOSCOW to BERLIN: Figured it out yet? MOSCOW to PARIS: StP, Swe, Den, Bel, Hol, Kie, Ber. But that only comes to seventeen centers for you! What then?! MOSCOW to VIENNA: Good luck. MOSCOW to SWEDEN: Don't bother learning German just yet. ===== End of press releases ===== Current Positions: ==================================================== A/H A/H Eng Fra Fra Ger Ger Rus Rus Armies Fleets Armies Armies Fleets Armies Fleets Armies Fleets ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ A-Ser F-Ion A-Swe A-Yor F-Bar A-Liv F-GOB A-Fin F-Con A-Bud F-Gre A-StP F-Nth A-Pru F-Bal A-Mos F-Bul/E A-Vie F-Adr A-Bur F-Eng A-Sil F-Den A-Ukr A-Ven A-Par F-TyS A-Mun A-Rum A-Rom F-Nap A-War F-MAO A-Boh Existing Wars Between the Powers: ===================================== BALTIC WAR - Declared Fall 1902 - England/Russia vs Germany. & England vs France/Germany.
