PROPAGANDA RELEASES:

FRENCH FORCES LAND IN ITALY

The Marseilles Free French naval forces with support from the LeHavre and
Monaco fleets made a coordinated attack on the Italian peninsula. The
Austrian navel fleet in Naples was sunk in the harbor. Austrian naval
forces in Rome were kept from supporting the besieged Naples fleet. The
1st Parisenne Free French Army landed at several beachs on southern Italy and
quickly captured the key cities of Reggio Calabria and Napoli. The Free
French forces have vowed to free Rome by Christmas 1909. French naval forces
continue to dominate the Mediterranean Sea and will eliminate all Austrian
naval forces by the end of 1910.

FRENCH FORCES RETURN TO ST. PETERSBURG

General Louise H. L'High under orders from General P.A. LaFayette moved the
7th Tours Free French Army from Moscow to St. Petersburg. The French will not
make the same mistakes as Napoleon I and overextend its supply lines to let
the Russian winter destroy the French army. The 7th Tours Free French Army
will be housed in prepared fortifications and supply points in and about the
city of St. Petersburg with warm and comfortable housing and adequate foods
supplies for the expected harsh Russian winter of 1909.

General Lousie H. L'High expects to continue the Russian campaign after the
spring thaw. It is expected that Russian and German troops may continue to
fight during the winter months over control of Moscow

FRENCH FORCES BATTLE AUSTRIANS IN GENOVA

The 3rd Parisenne Free French Army with support from the French Calais Fleet
engaged in fierce hand-to-hand fighting with overwhelming Austrian forces
near and around the city of Genova. Although French Army forces suffered
minor losses, the Austrian forces continued to attack in wave after wave of
frenzied troops. Without the support of superior French naval gunfire, French
forces would not have been able to hold off the numerically superior Austrian
forces. The Free French army after days of battle had to fall back due to
the high piles of enemy bodies stacked up and decomposing in front of French
positions.

FASCIST TERRORIST ACTIVITY IN NORTHERN FRANCE AND BELGIUM

The 4th Dijon Free French Army moved into Picardy to quell fascist uprisings
and terrorists activities spreading from Belgium that were threatening the
security of France. General P.A. LaFayette previously had informed the
German government of the intended French actions if the uprising in Belgium
could not be controlled by German forces and terrorists activities continued
along the Belgium - French borders. It was reported that terrorist leaders
of the Nazi party have been reported in Belgium and possibly Holland or the
Ruhr. France is cooperating with the German government to track down and
bring to trial all known and suspected terrorists responsible for the current
rash of bombings and riots.

MOSCOW, Feb. 5, 1985. The Czar is reportedly enjoying his stay in
Sevastopol. Some reports indicate, however, that he is ready to move
back to Moscow and attend to the needs of the Empire once more.

News From Berlin============================================================

LIVONIAN GOVERNMENT ESTABLISHED
After over a year of preparation, writing its constitution, and training
a standing army, the former Russian territory of Livonia has been
indoctrinated into the official German Council of Nations. Livonia joins
Germany, Belgium, Holland, and Denmark in the GCN. As a GCN member the
Livonian people of course enjoy a "borderless" society and tariff free
trade with all member nations. Also, in the event of a national
emergency, they may request that German armed forces be sent to their
state for security purposes. When the emergency has passed they may ask
the friendly German troops to return to their bases [at which point, by
order of German parliament, all forces are ordered to immediately
comply].

Sweden and Poland have formally requested to join the GCN, but the
Polish request is being held up in German Parliament as the debate
continues over the impact that the Polish sausage will have on the
German economy. Strong lobbies from the cities of Frankfurt, Bologna,
and Liverwurst Continue to filibuster the bill. The Swedish request
however, is expected to pass shortly.

	   --------------------
Two monthes ago, after Livonian ratification of the GCN treaty, the
Livonian parliament asked the German army to review the new Livonian
Guard (Livonia's standing defense force). The German high command was so
impressed that it asked the Livonian Parliament for permission to
withdraw the German garrison. Reluctantly their parliament consented. It
was a sad sad occasion for the Livonian people the day of the garrison's
departure. Mayors gave long speeches, thanking Germany for its
assistance in gaining freedom. Church bells sounded, old men tried to
hide the lumps in their throats, while young maidens openly wept on the
shoulders of their German boy friends. Bands played and Cheering crowds
waved German and Livonian flags as the German color guard marched in
proud procession amidst the fanfare of flowers and ticker tape.

STRONG WORDS TO FRENCH ALLIES

In a speech to parliament, Chancellor Hiematstadt warned the French
Navy to stop interfering with German fishing vessels in the North Sea.
He further ordered the 6th Duetchland Fleet stationed in Denmark to the
Helgoland Bight to conduct maneuvers and for a show of force.

Tensions have been escalating in the region ever since the steady
disappearance of German fishing boats had been linked to periods of
French Naval maneuvers. At first it was thought to be due to bad weather
and high seas. But testimony from French Seamen, who asked not to be
identified, have revealed that they observed as their French warship
ordered unidentified fishing vessels baring the German flag to halt for
a general search. When the vessels did not comply, battle stations were
called. The French sailors had to report to their station which was
below deck. Shortly thereafter the ships main guns were fired. That is
all the sailors know.
