A full scale assault was launched againt Eanor yesterday. While the Kings army was able to fend off the furious attacks, there were several casualties. Reinforcments have been sent in from the city of Illmar and some troops have been dispatched from Ashmire as well, in an attempt to trap the Drow forces somewhere in the WhiteElf Delta region; maybe even driving them back into the Forbidden Forest. Here are the definitions of the two "different" character classes found in the Campaign Handbook as per the request of several ElfSword players: Samuri Warrior: Requirements Str. 17 Int. 12 Wis. 15 Dex. 18 Con. 17 Cha. 9 Com. 10 The Samuri Warrior is a variation of the Monk class; however, the samuri is able to use a variety of weapons which is special to this class. These weapons are very difficult ot find and even harder to learn how to use, but the Samuri is a very dangerous character. Players wishing to run a Samuri will often find that they will start the game at an extreme disadvantage. (Remember a character named Sam who was marooned for the first month of the campaign). Samuri's must be Human. Archer: Requirements Str. 16 Int. 15 Wis. 15 Dex. 16 Con. 17 Cha. 15 Com. 15 The Archer is a variation of a Ranger who specializes in bow and arrow type weapons. In fact, the Archer may ONLY use bow and arrow weapons and a dagger (for close range combat). Archers gain a +1 missile adjustment at every 3rd level of experience attained, plus another missile bonus of +2 for a Dex. of 18. (+1 for Dex of 17) Archers have all the Ranger abilities and Ranger HD. Archers also have the ability to make their own bows and arrows from natural resources. This chances of successfully crafting a functioning bow is 50% + 10% per level until 5th level when they can make these bows without possibility of failure. RUMORS & STORIES What ever happend to...
