[net.games.pbm] DIPLOMACY: Country in isolation! HELLO! Anybody out there?!

cs111olg@ucla-cs.UUCP (03/17/86)

[Line eaters are stealing my articles!]

To roy@phri:
To bad@npoiv:

To everyone in Roy Smith's and Dautrich's DIPLOMACY games:

I have repeatedly tried to contact everybody and it seems I have had
even less success than YOU trying to reach me. It became apparent
that neither Game Master (pardon the expression) has been able to keep
stable communications with me. Neither have the players.

Below are (what are claimed to be) the more common and possibly reliable
routes to my account(s). PLEASE RESPOND ASAP! Send your Name, Country,
a list of possible WORKING paths (UUCP, ARPA, BITNET) and a Game you
are in. UUCP has proved to be slower but more reliable than ARPA
(other than a select few sites, seismo being UNreliable).

If I can't establish secure communication routes with players and
(most important) Game Masters I will be forced to resign from the
game(s) - no usense screwing up the game for everyone by removing
DIPLOMACY out of the game. (Don't gloat! No civil disorders in net game!
A stand-by will easily be found to take up my place! :-)

NOTE TO GAME MASTERS: I have sent out my moves. If you don't receive
them in reasonable time (deadline +/- delta) - Oh well! I guess it's
time for stand-ins to get into the game....
