Has anybody heard any information about a new Talking Heads album? I read in Billboard two months ago that they had finished recording a new album at the Record Plant in New York, but I have heard nothing since. There is a new album out by David Byrne called `Music for The Knee Plays', but the Billboard article specifically mentioned the whole group and not just Byrne. David

The May 5th issue of the "New York Times Magazine" had a long article on David Byrne. It mentioned not only that the new Talking Heads album will be released in early summer, but also that David Byrne is writing the screenplay for a feature film. He intends to direct it later this year in Texas. Yee-haw! The rest of the article was kind of silly -- they got Byrne to talk about his work, which made him sound like just a trendy idiot.
