Ah Ha! Someone is out there!!!
>From the long silence I thought everyone had dropped interest...
We attempted at one time to compile a list of everyone who had 432 systems or
were going to get one, but only one (I think) site responded to an inquiry
over the net. There seems to be a renewed interest now in this list.

The CS Dept at the University of Illinois has a 432/600 Development system.
This system has been up since June of this year, and is currently being used
by a class in Operating Systems.

At one time, the Oregon Graduate Center had someone that was feeding 432
updates to the newsgroup, but that source has been silent for quite a while.

Anyway, I still am interested in what others are doing with their 432 systems,
and am willing to share my experience with iMAX and the other software Intel
provides.

Well, maybe there is life out there in 432 land after all. I am also
interested in finding out who has 432 systems, what there doing with
them, and what kind of success they are having.

(sorry about the "~v", I thought that I could pop into the editor)
We here at Michigan have rather ambitious plans for our machine.
It is to be used as a cell-level controller for an automated manufactur-
ing cell test bed. We are developing two AP systems for the 432, one
for image acquisition, the other for multiple robot control functions.
We hope to have parts of are system running soon (in the next few months),
though we have been plagued with our share of start-up troubles -- such
Anyway, I just thought that I would give a brief synopsis of what
we are planning to do with our system, and would like to here the
same from others who have a 432. This hopefully will give us (at
least me, anyway) a better idea of who we are conversing with in
these regards.

My apologies in advance, if I don't respond to messages quickly,
the next month-and-a-half is going to be extremely hectic for me.
My further apologies for my misspellings in this letter, as I haven't
yet figured out how to get this damn thing into the editor).

So how about it?!? Hey, who's listening out there on the "ssovax"
anyway???
