If there is anyone out there, I am considering upgrading our 432/670 memory boards to use 256K chips, which will give us a total of 4 MB. It looks like the only changes needed will be 2 PROMs on the memory controller board, 1 PROM and 1 new chip on the memory board, and of course wiring pin 1 of all the RAMs. Has anyone else out there done or considered doing anything similar? For that matter, is anyone out there doing anything at all with the 432? (I know it's been discontinued, but I still think it's a neat machine!) We just installed release 2.7 of the Ada Cross Development System, and it is much improved. It comes with a dynamic application loader, so you don't have to link each of your programs to iMAX, and you can load and run multiple programs simultaneously, a major step forward! It even comes with a simple shell which supports I/O redirection and pseudo-pipes (I am investigating implementing real pipes). Anyhow, if anyone is still using the 432, I really want to hear from you! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eric L.
