In case anybody's wondering why we're not getting much net traffic just now, decvax is not answering its phone for some reason. More information whenever I learn more...

In case anyone is wondering why no news, decvax seems to be out of it again. This time the calls are going through fine but the protocol is not starting up. Decvax is in the process of moving to another building, and I suspect this behavior is an artifact of that move -- they probably are not fully operational.

Decvax is unresponsive again. This time the machine seems to be simply down. It perhaps might be a phone-line problem, but decvax's modems have the interesting quirk that when the machine is down, 1230 doesn't answer the phone but 1241 does (although, of course, when it answers it doesn't say anything and uucp eventually gives up trying to log in). That is exactly what's happening now, so it looks like decvax went down some time on Friday and hasn't come back up yet.
