We're experiencing some problems in dialing the UTCS systems (utcsstat, utcstvax, utcstv2) which may be noise in their stupid PACX. Line noise is severe enough to cause real problems, including in particular hanging uucp once in a while. Seems that in at least one place in the startup sequence there should be a timeout and isn't. I haven't pinned down the location of the problem yet. Until I do, communications from utzoo to and from those systems may be a bit more erratic than usual.
