I have just sent the following to Armando Stettner, network administrator at decvax: ----- To: decvax!aps Subject: news and mail All of a sudden, we aren't getting anything from you. Our calls get through ok, and traffic from us seems to get sent across all right, but nothing comes back. Even our regular loop-mail tests don't come back. Looks like trouble at your end. ----- I don't know what is going on. Whatever it is, it started a day or two ago. We didn't have any substantial backlog at decvax at the time, and our uucp has truly ridiculous timeout settings, so it doesn't look like the well-known traffic-pileup-timeout problem. Something is wrong at decvax, I know not what. Stay tuned.

The low level of news is not more decvax problems, but a much more mundane matter: utzoo has had early-morning crashes both today and yesterday.
