[ont.uucp] ete and etat

This morning I noticed that in a few articles the words "the" and
"that" *seem* to have been replaced with "ete" and "etat",
respectively.  The articles were unrelated (different posters and
newsgroups).

	What a horrible discovery!  The Dreaded Line-eater has now mutated
into an even more insidious organism - a "Word Translator".  :-) :-) :-)
