We have installed a Sun here at Bell which transfers files to some 30 sites in the Company. We use 8 outgoing lines and have found some good bugs in the Sun uucp code (like L.sys will only take 99 enteries). I can't remember the other intermittant problems, but, by comparison the System V verion we have running on the VAX730 is much more stable and easier to manage. We know about the bugs in Sun's ancient uucp. (Did you know it drops
about 3/8ths of all incoming mail?) That's why utzoo is running honey
danber instead of Sun's uucp. It's working fine so far.
