There has been some interest, albiet small, so I am going to create the group ont.conditions, to which I will post regular reports on the conditions of Ontario roads and ski resorts. Mostly this will be the road reports. Each posting will cancel the previous one, so that there will only be (with the odd exception) one story of each type in the group at any given time, ie. tiny disk space usage. This group would not be intended to be subscribed to by anybody. Pretty boring, really. Instead, when you want to check road conditions, you would quickly subscribe, read the latest article and usubscribe. Or, you could feed ont.conditions into a program via your sys file, to store the report in a standard file someplace on your system, based perhaps on the 'Slugword' header field. In this case, you would have no newsgroup, but a file on your system that has up to date road conditions. Anybody opposed? I may drop the ski reports if that's boring. If there are no major problems, I'll start this in a day or two. -- Brad Templeton, ClariNet Communications Corp. -- Waterloo, Ontario 519/884-7473
