[ont.uucp] Nebulus is Down

root@nebulus.UUCP (Dennis S. Breckenridge) (02/02/90)

THE GOOD NEWS

Well things here at Nebulus central control have taken an unexpected
turn for the good. I am transfering out to the west coast with my
career. Yes, I will be living in lotus land and all email will get
routed through there.

THE BAD NEWS

The bad news is that all downstream news sites will have to arrange for
another feed. I will cut the phone lines here (Bell Canada willing) on
Monday February 26. There are a number of sites affected by this disruption
so please update your maps as soon as possible. Nebulus will drop all
email connections after the move. If you want to maintain the email/news
link you should arrange this with me before I move. I will post new numbers
once the dust clears. To facilitate the cutover I would like you to
let me know, as soon as possible, when I can stop your feed. Things will
be a little chaotic over here and I cannot devote the time running the
system as I have done in the past.
I have enjoyed running the service I have provided and I regret the
dropping the machine. Many thanks to Evan and Dave for thier patience and
persistance. I know I will miss the the friends I have made here.

Anyone connected to "nebulus" who needs
a local email-only feed will be welcome
here at "becker"; unfortunately I don't
have the spool space to take on another
	news feed at the moment...

Cheers,
