Why do Americans insist on breaking down geographical locations by states? There are other methods to divide up countries. Here in a place called "Canada", we mostly use the term "Province" to refer to what you people would call a state. It refers to political boundaries just as your states do. Please note, there are other uses of the word state. For example, we do not call it 'Finite Province Automata'. Nor do we say "...bad province of affairs". Also, we do not get a provinceroom when we take ocean cruises. Please make up a new category for foreigners in this INTERNATIONAL net.
