I have been brewing for about 6 months now, but I find that in the summer the temperature in my apartment is regularly above 75 degrees F. The books I read say this is not good, and I have not brewed for about a month. Does anyone else have this situation? If I lived in a house I might have a nice cool cellar... I wonder what happens if I just go ahead anyway? Is there some type of super ale yeast which tolerates higher temperatures? What about recipes? I have ingredients for steam beer, but I suspect even it will not do so well fermenting at temperatures over 75 degrees. Jan Edler ..!cmcl2!edler
