One of my father's hobbies is making wine, and when I still lived at home, I used to get recruited to help him with whatever was going on at the time, racking the wine, stirring some cooking juice, filtering, etc, etc; and I remember one paticular batch of blackberry (I believe it was, anyway) wine that we made that came in at 21%(!!!). That was the only time we ever came even close to that. That, and it didn't taste half bad, either.
