[net.wines] nonalcoholic beverage

The matter interests me, because I fly and it is illegal (and stupid)
to drink any alcohol at all and then fly less than 8 hours later.
Sometimes I want to fly somewhere interesting and have a picnic.
The most interesting nonalcoholic drink I have found so far is
Martinelli's sparkling apple cider. It is EXTREMELY dry. Delicious
stuff. Keep an eye out for it.

Having been raised as a Christian Scientist, I drank something called
Sparkling Catawba Grape for years as a substitute for Champaigne. It
is reasonably similar to what I would now call a mildly sweet Champaign.
Not bad at all for picnicking and such, though I wouldn't compare it to
a really good dry Champaigne.
